Oxygen-Dependent
Last year, my son was on oxygen for close to 6 months. The nurses and doctors said that he was oxygen-dependent, meaning that without it he was not able to breathe on his own. During that season, my eye was on that oxygen, ensuring it was ever-connected and ever-flowing.
It got me thinking about our spiritual lives. This is how we need to depend on God; to need Him all the time knowing that if you don't have Him for even a brief moment, you will die. We truly cannot live without Him and so we strive to stay connected and keep that life flowing in.
I understood better why Michael W. Smith sang, “Breathe”.
“As oxygen is to mortality, that’s how God is to humanity.”
Apostle Johnson Suleman, WWN, 31st October 2023.
Here’s the Declaration:
Abide in Him.
Jhn 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
